The resulting photo and video assets fed a large digital and OOH push in key markets for the cyber insurance and security provider. We worked with Breakfast for Dinner to bring our surreal vision to life across 6 different sets.

We brought in Lauren Segal (stills) and Cam Ostmanmostman.com/ (motion) to capture talent across 4 industries in a studio environment. Autumn Line handled the edit and motion graphics while the custom score came from Sanctus.
In July of 2020 we traveled up to Saint Helena and shot this brand video for Brendel Wines with Even Odd. Andrew Bautista directed this piece and we had a really fun and safe shoot using only locations owned by the Heitz family of brands.
Databricks came to Butchershop needing a brand manifesto video for their company kick off in early 2020. We had developed their brand up to this point and got to work sprinting to create this piece.
With the first set of Jim and Okra videos being Okta’s best performing organic campaign of all time, they requested a second round of spots. With COVID restrictions still in place, we shot these remotely with a distributed team in 3 time zones.
At the onset of COVID, Okta wanted to shoot a remote ad campaign with Jesse Kendall, a comedian they had previously worked with. This was Butchershop’s first time serving as a SAG signatory, and the Chicago SAG office was helpful in bringing this to life. Remote shooting used a combination of onsite hardware, YouTube streaming, and Discord. The series of 6 ads went on to be Okta’s most successful organic campaign to date.
We worked Blend labs to come up with fun and quirky stories to show that they’re platform is for so much more than mortgages. After coming up with some 15 second spots we brought on animator Brent Clouse to develop characters and bring the stories to life.
In parallel with the Nike Careers Website, I worked with teams to develop the Converse Careers Site during the same window of 18 months. Extra days of shooting, different web modules, and a shift in perspective were required as we sought to give the storied New England brand the jobs site it deserves. I worked with teams at Butchershop, Gunslingers, Maniak, and Nike to bring this site and the content that lives on it to life. Months of planning, led to 5 weeks of production travel on 4 continents, then months of post, QA, localization, and content management. After 18 months, jobs.nike.com is finally live.
Okta tapped Butchershop to create a motion graphics video for their 10 year anniversary event. A small team worked with Okta’s brand marketing leadership to execute this piece on a quick turn.
